This Fleeting World

"Nothing lasts forever", as I recall this saying. Almost everything is impermanent. People, things, opportunities and even the things we consider our possessions, can be temporary. Holding on to something you knew at first will last, will eventually lost from you. It breaks my heart to know and think these all might slip from our grip at any moment. Just like a sand, no matter how much you try to take a good hold on it..some can still pass through from our fingers. Only then we realize the one's that stays are those that remained loyal to us. We give value to them and we cherish them in our hearts. This is when we realize who our true friends are. The bottom line here: clinging on to something too much might cripple you from growing as a person. It makes you stagnant in your present pedestal. This halts you from enjoying the adventure of this 4-dimensional world and obscures your view with the beauty life has to offer.
